Teeth Straightening in Bengaluru — Braces & Clear Aligners
Crooked, crowded or gapped teeth can be straightened with fixed braces or removable clear aligners. This page compares every option we offer — how each works, what it costs, and how long it takes — so you can decide before you book.
Four ways to straighten teeth — which one suits you?
The right choice depends on how much movement is needed, how visible you want it to be, and your budget. All four are available at both clinics.
Metal Braces
The most cost-effective option and capable of the widest range of movement. Fixed to the teeth for the whole treatment. Usually 12–24 months.
Metal & ceramic bracesCeramic Braces
Work exactly like metal braces but with tooth-coloured brackets, so they are far less noticeable in photographs and conversation.

When we treat, and when we refer
Dr. V. Divyashree is a Chief Dental Surgeon and Implantologist who provides orthodontic treatment for the great majority of cases — crowding, spacing, mild to moderate alignment, and cosmetic straightening before a smile makeover.
Some cases are genuinely better handled by a specialist orthodontist: skeletal jaw discrepancies, severe malocclusion, cases needing surgical correction, and most growth-stage treatment in children. Where that applies, we will tell you at the assessment and refer you rather than take the case on.
We think that is the more useful thing to know before you book than a job title. The assessment is where you find out which group you are in. It is a flat ₹300, and that fee is what keeps the diary open for people who actually want treating.
Teeth straightening — common questions
At Dentick, metal braces run ₹25,000–₹45,000 and ceramic braces ₹35,000–₹60,000 for the appliance and full course of treatment. Clear aligners start around ₹60,000 and Invisalign around ₹80,000. Adjustment visits and retainers are charged separately — retainers are ₹3,000–₹8,000 — and every item appears in your written plan before treatment begins. EMI is available on all of them.
For mild to moderate crowding, spacing and alignment, yes — the results are comparable. Fixed braces still handle a wider range of movement, particularly rotations and significant bite correction. We will tell you honestly at the assessment which your case needs rather than selling you the more expensive option by default.
Most cases run 12–24 months. Simple cosmetic alignment of the front teeth can finish in 4–8 months; complex crowding can run beyond two years. You get an estimated timeline at the assessment, and with Invisalign you also see a digital preview of the projected end result.
There is soreness for two to three days after fitting and after each adjustment — usually described as pressure rather than pain, and manageable with ordinary painkillers. Aligners tend to be milder, with a day or so of tightness each time you change tray.
Adults can absolutely be treated — teeth move at any age. A large share of our straightening patients are adults in their twenties to forties, which is exactly why ceramic braces and clear aligners are popular: they are far less visible at work.
Yes, and this matters. Teeth drift back toward their original position without retention. Retainers are charged separately from the treatment figures above — ₹3,000 to ₹8,000 — and we will show you exactly how long to wear them for. Budget for them at the planning stage rather than being surprised at the end.
No — she is a Chief Dental Surgeon and Implantologist who provides orthodontic treatment. That covers the great majority of straightening cases. For skeletal jaw discrepancies, severe malocclusion or cases needing surgery, we refer you to a specialist orthodontist rather than take the case on, and we tell you that at the assessment.
Not sure what you need?
Answer a few quick questions about what is bothering you. We will point you to the treatment it usually relates to, show the typical price range, and give you a short list of questions to ask at your appointment. Takes about a minute.
This is automated guidance based only on what you told us. It is not a diagnosis and not a quote. Only an examination by Dr. Divyashree can tell you what you actually need and what it will cost.
