The titanium implant post is placed into the jawbone under local anaesthesia. Most patients describe the procedure as considerably more comfortable than they expected.

The implant bonds with your jawbone over 3–6 months. During this time you can eat normally with a temporary restoration if needed.

The overall process typically takes 4–8 months: consultation and CBCT scan, implant placement, a 3–6 month osseointegration period, and then crown fitting. The actual chair time at each visit is relatively short.
